Frying Pan

Knife
One Large Ziplock Baggie
One Slotted Spoon
Paper Towels, For draining the fried yellow summer squash
The necessary ingredients are a breeze to gather at the grocery store for the Fried Yellow Summer Squash and they are as follows:
Around four to five medium sized Yellow Summer Squash, washed, sliced
Vegetable Oil
All-Purpose Flour
Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
Take the slices of the yellow summer squash, season the yellow summer squash with the salt and the black pepper. Place all of the yellow summer squash slices into the ziplock baggie, pour about a half of a cup of all-purpose flour into the baggie, seal the baggie, and shake. Place some of the vegetable oil, about a cup or more into the frying pan. Heat the vegetable oil on medium heat, then remove the yellow summer squash slices from the baggie with a slotted spoon, (to remove the excess flour) and start frying the yellow summer squash, turning the slices of the yellow summer squash with the fork until the yellow summer squash is browned on both sides.
Drain the fried yellow summer squash on paper towels to drain. Serve the fried yellow summer squash as soon as it gets done.
